Our 10 best habits for a healthy body:

  1. Drink water – 8 glasses a day – herbal tea counts!  Your body is 70% water!
  2. Eat breakfast – otherwise your body thinks you are still fasting and will hold onto your fat stores!  Start that metabolism each morning!
  3. Exercise – walk or exercise for at least 40 minutes 3 times a week.  You don’t start burning calories or getting your metabolism going until the 30 minute mark!
  4. Eat whole foods and live longer – these are unprocessed foods.  Processed foods are a known health risk!
  5. Be kind, grateful and always give thanks – remember, what comes around goes around!
  6. Meditate – let your mind rest for at least 10 minutes a day – it deserves a break too!
  7. Look after your skin – it’s your largest organ!
  8. Detox at least once a year – did you know you are able to completely renew your liver in 6 weeks by detoxifiying!
  9. Sleep 6-8 hours per night – it’s not called beauty sleep for nothing!
  10. Look after your teeth by brushing and flossing – research claims that unhealthy gums can lead to heart attack and even stroke!
